Board of directors
J. Lauritzen and the two businesses, Lauritzen Kosan and Lauritzen Bulkers each have a two-tier management structure consisting of a non-executive Board of Directors and an Executive Management.
The core task of each Board of Directors is to ensure that the company’s overall business strategy is consistent and that the Group’s capital structure is appropriate. The focus is on risk management and internal control and the Board of Directors ensures that an annual strategic plan and budget is drawn up and approved and that monthly and quarterly reports are submitted. The Boards of Directors are supported by two permanent committees: An Audit Committee and a Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
